Description
Our range of Winsor and Newton classic cotton canvases provide the perfect surface for oil and acrylic painting. Each canvas is made with acid free, archival-quality 350gsm cotton cloth, making them durable and long-lasting.
This collection is available in a broad range of 31 different sizes; 16 imperial sizes (from 4 x 6 inches to 40 x 60 inches), and 15 metric sizes (from 20 x 20cm to 100 x 100cm), all with a depth of 0.75 inches. You are sure to find the perfect size for every project.
The canvases are primed with high pigmented, titanium white Gesso, which gives them the ideal level of tooth and absorbency.
They come ready to use, having been expertly pre-stretched by hand, but include wood keys should you wish to adjust the level of tension yourself. The stretcher bars on each canvas are made from kiln-dried, solid spruce wood, and have been rigorously tested to make sure they endure moisture and keep their shape without warping.
