Founded in 1983, Wacom is a Japanese company that launched its first tablet the WT-460M in 1984. The firm made its name by offering tablets with cordless styluses, rather than the corded variatiations competitors had at the time. With their approach towards the quality of tecnology they offered they quickly became the tablet industry's biggest player. Today Wacom serves a broad range of creative customers across the world from film and animation, auto-design and manga.
