Khadi Papers
Khadi Paper in the 1980's were the first to introduce Indian handmade papers to London based artists and designers. They work very closely with their paper makers based around the village of Tarihal near Hubli in Karnataka, South India and later in Nepal and Bhutan as well. Khadi Papers now gives over sixty men and women employment from local villages and provides paid work for printers, technicians and carpenters.
