Lamy
Started in 1930 by C. Josef Lamy, the Lamy company got its start after the release of the Lamy 27 fountain pen, which gave a smooth, clean flow of ink and gave the company its breakthrough on the market. Moving into a new location in Heidelberg, Lamy began to develop new products, including the Lamy Exact, which was Germany's first ballpoint pen. With the quality of the Exact Lamy, it began to gain a reputation not only in Germany but all around the world.
