This Weekend Bag from Elvis & Kresse is made from genuine decommissioned fire hoses that have been reclaimed after seeing action in the line of duty to put out fires by UK fire brigades for up to 25 years in some cases. The lining of this bag is made from material rescued from Burberry's Yorkshire workshop making each bag from Elvis & Kresse totally unique as no two will be the exact same. This hard wearing hose material is ideal for your weekend bag as it's incredible robust and durable but will soften over time from use without loosing it's innate strength. The material is water resistant and dirt can easily be wiped clean from it's surface. This bag has a wide mouth opening which makes packing, unpacking and searching seamless and straightforward and due to the generous capacity size you can take everything you would need for a weekend away from clothes, shoes, laptops, snacks, books and anything much more. On the outside of the bag is an exterior pocket with easy access for particular items and an internal zip pocket with a further three internal poacher style pockets giving you lots of storage possibilities.

Elvis & Kresse fell in love with London's decommissioned fire-hose back in 2005 through a chance encounter with the London Fire Brigade. They took this lifesaving material home determined to breathe new life into it and save it from its otherwise inevitable end in landfill, and vowed to donate 50% of our profits to charity. For over a decade they have been rescuing all of London's retired fire-hose by lovingly handcrafting them into sustainable luxury bags and accessories. Every year since, Elvis & Kresse have donated 50% of the profits from the Fire-hose Collection to The Fire Fighters Charity. This heroic material, once used to save lives, gets a second chance to keep giving back.
