Together, Caran d'Ache and Sir Paul Smith have created a limited edition 849 ballpoint pen carrying the designer’s famous signature.
A regular user of Caran d’Ache’s ‘849’ pen, Paul Smith first teamed with the Swiss manufacturer to create the pen in new exclusive colours to commemorate the company’s 100th anniversary. For this second edition, Paul has borrowed colours from the signature Artist Stripe that appears throughout the autumn/winter '16 collection.
The iconic 849 ballpoint pen, Sir Paul Smith’s daily companion, is transformed into an ultra-trendy object and the designer’s signature covers its hexagonal shape. With its famous hexagonal body and its ultra-thin case, the Caran d’Ache 849 has been regarded as a design classic since its release in 1969. This pen comes with a blue medium Goliath ink cartridge which lasts up to 600 A4 pages.
As comfortable as ever to hold, it displays incomparable elegance and style. The packaging of the 849 Paul Smith Edition 3 is available in the 8 vibrant colours of the stripes decorating this legendary ballpoint pen.
