Caran d'Ache has been an expert manufacturer of pastels since 1952 and it was more than 30 years ago that the craftsmen in its Geneva workshops developed the NEOPASTEL. This set brings together 24 of the full 96 pastel range.
These pastels have a velvety texture, with a high pigment concentration and covering, you can apply large quantities of opaque colour in strokes or as blocks of colour, blended and in washes.
Neopastel colours can be used on almost any substrate including tinted paper, tracing paper and smooth papers, canvas, wood, glass, leather and more!
Caran d'Ache Neopastels can also be used on dry undercoats such as ink, acrylic, water-based and oil-based paints.
This set contains all the primary colours in various gradations and is particularly suitable for creating flowers, still lifes and landscapes.
