Sennelier
In 1887 Gustave Sennelier moved from chemistry to establish himself as a creator of fine artists paints. With his knowledge of chemistry and his research of art history, Sennelier developed a distinctive process of manufacturing oil colours. His work was so thorough and his eye for colour so accurate that he was soon regarded as the highest standard of quality for oil colours. Since his beginnings, Sennelier's paints have hung in museums across the globe, and the name has become a legend.
