Lamy
Started in 1930 by C. Josef Lamy, the Lamy company got its start after the release of the Lamy 27 fountain pen which gave a smooth clean flow of ink and gave the company its breakthrough onto the market. Moving into a new location in Heidelberg, Lamy began to develop new products including the Lamy Exact which was Germany's first ballpoint pen. With the quality of the Exact Lamy begins to get a reputation not only in Germany but all around the world.
In 1980 Lamy revealed the Lamy Safari which would go on to be the best-selling fountain pen in the world, the safari remains a staple of the Lamy collection. Now known for their modern and sleek designs and high quality, Lamy are a favourite for people all over the world.
