In 1930 Sam Golden joined his uncle's business Bocour Artist Colors, producing hand-ground oil colours for artists. In the middle of Manhattan, Sam Golden made paints for the likes of Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock and Willem de Kooning. Now Golden continues to create high-quality paints with artists and their work at the front of everything they do. The product range has grown from Sam's original heavy body acrylic to know including high flow colours, interference acrylics, gels, pastes, mediums and more.
