This Huile Oil Sheet from Arches has been specifically designed for oil painting, made from 100% quality cotton that is completely acid-free helping to prevent yellowing and discoloration. The paper measures 56cm by 76cm with a weight of 640gsm that has been cold pressed for a bumpy surface texture. The powerful oil barrier on the surface of the paper helps with water and solvent absorption, letting the paint and pigment remain on the surface for a more striking effect and more vibrant colours.

Thanks to the unique gelatin stock-sizing techniques it makes the paper perfect for vigorous painting techniques including, rubbing, scraping and is durable enough for impasto layers. Each sheet has four deckled edges and are cold pressed that gives the paper a rougher and more uneven texture.
