Carrés Conté Artist Crayons are a drawing medium composed of natural pigment, clay and binder. They are softer in texture than a pencil making them excellent for sketching and layout work together with monochrome and polychrome design work. Carrés Conté may be used on all types of paper and even on canvas. They may also be used in conjunction with paper stumps and putty rubbers.
